Recipe for Sooji Ki Barfi

Ingredients

  • Semolina 1/2 kg
  • Condensed milk 1 tin
  • Sugar 250 gm
  • Green color 1/2 tsp
  • Red color 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped almonds and pistachios for garnish
  • Ghee 250 gm
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom 1/2 tsp
  • Silver paper for garnish

Cooking Directions

Heat ghee and roast semolina.

Now put milk, sugar, cardamom and kewra and cook it.

Now divide into parts and put green color in one part and red color in second part.

Then spread on tray.

Now sprinkle almonds and pistachios.

When cool, cut into pieces and serve.
