Recipe for Crisp Prawns

Ingredients

  • FOR MARINATION
  • ½ kg prawns
  • 4 tbspns soy sauce
  • Some salt
  • Some pepper
  • A dash of Chinese salt
  • FOR CRUST
  • An egg
  • 4 tbspns Flour
  • ½ tbspn corn Flour
  • ½ tspn baking powder
  • A dash of salt
  • A dash of Chinese salt
  • 1 cup plain salted potato chips (crushed)
  • Oil For deep Frying

Cooking Directions

Marinade prawns in all of the ingredients given and keep it covered in Freezer For 2 days.

Take them out an hour before Frying.

Transfer them in a big deep bowl and discard all the liquid.

Add egg and all the other dry ingredients and mix well with your hands.

Crumble each prawn in potato chips and Fry in hot oil.

When they are brown and nicely cooked take them out on an absorbent paper and serve hot.
