Recipe for Shahi Sheer Khurma
Ingredients
- milk1 Liter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1cardamom
- 1/2 cup almonds sliced thin
- Ghee1 tbsp
- 1/4 cup pistachios, sliced thin
- 1 cup fine roasted vermicelli, broken up
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron
- 5 dried dates, soaked and cut in four
- 2 tbsp khoya
Cooking Directions
Heat up ghee. Add white cardamom with vermicelli and brown it.
Then add milk with sliced dry dates, cook for 5 minutes.
When dates turn into soft; add sugar, khoya,raisins, almonds, pistachios and saffron.Cook for 5 minutes more.
Shahi sheer khurma is ready serve hot or cold.
