Recipe for GOBI KOORA

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsps oil
  • 2 tbsps crushed red chillies
  • 1 tbsp urad dal
  • 1 tsp chana dal
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 4 green chillies, ground
  • 1 cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • to taste salt

Cooking Directions

Heat the oil add red chillies crushed, urad dal, chana dal and mustard
seeds in.

When the urad dal begins to brown, add the curry leaves and stir.

Add the green chillies and continue cooking 1 minute more.

Stir the cabbage and peas into the mixture; season with salt; cook and stir until the cabbage begins to wilt, but remains somewhat crunchy, about 5
minutes.

Toss the coconut into the mixture and cook for 2 minutes more. Serve immediately.
