Recipe for Moong Dal Ke Chille
Ingredients
- Green gram (moong dal), washed 1 1/4 cups / 250 gm
- Ginger-garlic (adrak-lasan) paste 2 tbsp / 30 gm
- Green chillies, chopped 3
- Green coriander (hara dhaniya), chopped 1 tbsp / 15 gm
- Salt to taste
- Oil to fry
Cooking Directions
Soak the green gram for 2-3 hours. Drain and grind to a fine paste, adding a little water.
Add the remaining ingredients (except oil) and mix well.
Add a little more water to bring the mixture to a dropping consistency.
Smear 2 tsp of oil in a non-stick pan, pour 2 tbsp of the mixture in the pan and spread to form a flat round pancake.
Cook over a low flame till both the sides are golden brown in colour.
Fry 6-8 such round pancakes. Serve hot with Lahsun ki chutney or Dhaniya ki chutney.
