Recipe for CARAMEL BANANA CAKE
Ingredients
- 200 grams caster sugar for the caramel
- 175 grams butter For cake
- 150 grams caster sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 ripe bananas
- 140 grams self-raising flour
- 75 grams Almonds
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsps yogurt
- 150 grams Butter For Icing
- 100 grams Icing sugar
Cooking Directions
For caramel:
Heat 200grams of caster sugar on low flame, when it gets brown immediately remove it and put in a greased lid and let it cool.
Then crushed half of it and the remaining half in large pieces and refrigerate.
For Cake:
Beat the butter well and add eggs, caster sugar, bananas, ground almonds, self raising flour, baking powder, and yogurt and mix in 1/3 of the crushed caramels and butter, beat them together.
Now pour the mixture in a greased tin and bake it for about 45 minutes at 160 degree Celsius.
Let it get cool and frost the top with icing sugar and butter beaten.
Decorate the cake with crushed caramels you can also put the large caramel pieces in the middle.
It’s up to you how you decorate it you can use syrup for decoration as well.
