Recipe for RAS MALAI
Ingredients
- 2 cups dried milk
- 1 1/2 kilos Fresh milk
- 240 grams whole dried milk
- 2 Egg
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tbsps Refined flour
- 1/2 tsp Kewra
- 2 tbsps Clarified butter
- 5 tbsps almond chopped
- 5 tbsps pistachios
Cooking Directions
Boil mil in a pot; add whole dried milk, sugar, cardamom powder and kewra and cook for few mins
In a bowl mix dried milk, clarified butter, cardamom powder, flour and baking powder
Whisk eggs and knead the mixture with it
Make small, flat balls out of the dough, put in boiling milk and cook for few mins
When Ras Malai raises to the top remove from heat
Let them cool in fridge Garnish with almonds and pistachios
