Recipe for Sesame Laddu
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sesame seeds
- 4 tbsps Clarified Butter
- 1 cup Jaggery
- 1/2 cup Water
- 5 pods Cardamom seeds (removed and ground into a powder)
Cooking Directions
Roast sesame seeds in pan on medium heat till they are golden color.
Put jaggery and water in a pan and melt to a thick syrup.
Add toasted sesame seeds to syrup and mix well.
Add clarified butter and cardamom powder and mix well.
Take off from heat.
Grease your palms and take enough in your hand to form a ball. Lay on a greased plate to cool. Serve
