Recipe for Fish Keema Curry
Ingredients
- Greas carp Fish (Rahu) 1/2 kg
- Onions 2 large
- Cloves 6
- Ginger 2 inch piece
- Fresh coriander as required
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Bay leaves 2
- Green cardamoms (grounded) 2, 1/2 tsp
- Yogurt 3/4 cup
- Red chili (grounded) 1 tsp
Cooking Directions
Clean the fish and cut into large pieces.
Cook in a vessel with 2 cups of water, bay leaves cardamoms on very low heat until tender.
Strain the stock through a fine sieve and keep aside.
Remove the bones from the fish.
Then mash it coarsely.
Grind onion, garlic, ginger with chili and turmeric in to a fine paste.
Mix into curd with ground spices.
Heat oil and fry mashed fish.
Then stir in it ground spices mixed in yogurt until golden brown.
Add the stock obtained from boiling fish.
Cook till stock evaporates.
Garnish with chopped fresh coriander.
Serve hot with naan.
