Recipe for Smoke Khasta Keema
Ingredients
- Mince 1/2 kg
- Onion paste of 1
- Cashew nut ground 10
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Chili powder 1 tsp heaped
- Poppy seeds ground 1 tsp
- Screw pine 1 tsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
- Coconut ground 1 tbsp
- Nutmeg ground 1/4 tsp
- Mace ground 1/4 tsp
- Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1, 1/2 tsp or to taste
- Onion rings and mint leaves for garnish
Cooking Directions
Heat oil in a wok and add onion paste, fry for 5 minutes till light golden.
Add ginger garlic paste, fry for 2 minutes, remove and keep aside.
Marinate mince with yogurt, salt, all spice, chili powder, cardamom powder, ground nutmeg, ground mace, ground poppy seeds, coconut and cashew nuts.
Mix marinated mince with fried onion and ginger garlic mixture.
Put a burning coal over the mince, pour few drops of oil on coal, cover the pan immediately and leave for 5 minutes.
Remove the coal from mince.
Cover and cook mince over low flame till tender and oil separates,
In the end ass screw pine.
Garnished with onion rings and mint leaves.
Serve hot with rawa maeda paratha.
