Recipe for Saag Murgi
Ingredients
- Chicken-8 pieces
- Spinach (Paluk)-255 gram
- Onion (chopped)-1
- Ginger-2 inch piece
- Garlic-4
- Green Chili-1
- Crushed Black Pepper-1/2 tsp
- Red Chili powder-1 tsp
- Water-1 cup
- Oil-1/4 cup
- Salt-As required
Cooking Directions
First of all wash spinach and cut it.
Now cook it for 5 minutes without water.
Then add half ginger, half garlic, green chili and 1/4 water in spinach and blend it into blender.
Now take a cooking bowl put oil in it.
After that add black pepper, onion and cook it until it becomes golden brown in color.
Now add red chili, remaining ginger/garlic spinach paste 3/4 water and leave it.
When it gets boil then add chicken pieces and cook it for 15 to 20 minutes over slow flame.
If chicken get soft then serve it with Rice and Chapati.
