• 3/4 cup flour
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan. Mix flour, cocoa, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Melt butter in a large
saucepan and remove from heat. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Quickly whisk in eggs, one at a time.

Add butter mixture to flour mixture; stir until well blended. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
