Recipe for Fresh Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
- Chicken Broth 1 can
- Chicken Bases 3 T
- Water 2 quarts
- Pepper 1/4 tsp
- Salt 1/8 tsp
- Chunk Ginger(peeled) 1""
- Bay Leaves 2
- Garlic Cloves 8 large
- Stalks Celery(sliced) 2
- Bermuda Onion(sliced) 1/2
- Red Pepper(chopped) 1 large
- Baby Carrots(sliced) 12
- Mushrooms(sliced) 5
- Scallion(sliced) 1
Cooking Directions
Put everything into a soup pot and simmer gently for 1-2 hours adding water as needed.
This makes a light, refreshing, summer dish or first course.
Serve if hot.
