Recipe for Italian Burger
Ingredients
- For Burger Patty:
- Beef mince 500g
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Fresh garlic 1 tsp
- Mustard paste 1 tsp
- Oregano 1/2 tsp
- Thyme 1/2 tsp
- Egg 1
- Bread 1 slice (soaked milk 1/3 cup)
- Oil 4 tbsp
- For Assembling:
- Pasta sauce 1/2 cup
- Burger buns 4
- Cheese slices 4
- Mayonnaise 6 tbsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Black pepper 1/4 tsp
- Oregano 1/2 tsp
- Onion 1 medium (sliced)
- Bell pepper 1 small (sliced)
- Oil 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
In a chopper add mince, bread, black pepper, salt, garlic, oregano, thyme, mustard paste, egg blend well, till combined.
Grease your hands well and make 4 equal burger patty, keep aside.
Heat oil, add the patty and press down as shown in the video, cook for 8 to 10 minutes on medium flame, keep aside.
Warm the buns, keep aside.
Place the burgers in a frying pan add the pasta sauce, cook on low to medium flame and do flip the patty, now add the cheese slices till melts, keep aside.
In a frying pan heat oil add the onions and fry till gets slight colour, on high flame, then add the bell peppers, salt, pepper, oregano, mix and fry for further 1 to 2 minutes, on high flame.
Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the bun, add the patty, fried veg.
Serve hot with fries and cold drinks.
