Recipe for Chicken Kalya-E-Khas
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 kg (16 pieces)
- Green chilies 6 (grind)
- Almonds 10 (grind)
- Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp (grind)
- Onion ½ cup (fried, grind)
- Tomato puree ½ cup
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Salt 1 ½ tsp
- Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Oil ½ cup
- Fresh coriander for garnishing (chopped)
Cooking Directions
Grind together green chilies, almonds and coconut.
Marinate chicken with grind mixture, fried onion, tomato puree, yogurt, lemon juice, salt, chili powder and ginger garlic paste leave it for 1 hour.
Heat oil add marinated chicken with marination.
Cook till chicken tender and oil comes on top.
Garnish with chopped coriander.
Serve with nan.
