Recipe for Chicken Pasanda
Ingredients
- Chicken breast ½ kg (boneless, flatten like pasandas)
- Salt 1 tsp heaped
- Yogurt 1 cup heaped
- Coconut milk powder 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tsp
- Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
- Green cardamom ½ tsp (grinded)
- Gram 1 tbsp (roasted and ground)
- Poppy seeds 1 tbsp (grinded)
- Allspice 1 tsp
- Oil ½ cup
- Onion ½ cup (chopped)
- Fresh coriander for garnish
- Green chilies for garnish
Cooking Directions
Marinate chicken pasanda with salt, yogurt, coconut milk powder, ginger garlic paste, chili powder, green cardamom, gram, poppy seeds and allspice for 30 minutes.
Heat oil fry onion light golden.
Add in marinated chicken pasanda, cover and cook till tender and oil floats on top.
Serve garnish with chopped coriander and green chilies.
