Recipe for Zinger Paratha Roll
Ingredients
- For Marination:
- Chicken breast 1 kg (cut in thick strips)
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
- Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Hot sauce 2 tbsp
- Mustard powder or paste 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder 1 tsp
- For Batter:
- Milk 1 glass
- Plain flour 3/4 cup
- Corn flour 3/4 cup
- Hot sauce 1 tbsp
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- For Coating:
- Plain flour 2 cups
- Garlic powder 1 tsp (heaped)
- For Assembling:
- Poori paratha (check my Poori Paratha video)
- Onion 2 (finely sliced)
- Lettuce (finely sliced)
- Mayo (for serving)
- Sweet chili garlic sauce (for serving)
- Fries
- For Frying:
- Oil
Cooking Directions
In a bowl add chicken, salt, red chili powder, ginger & garlic paste, vinegar, hot sauce, mustard powder, black pepper powder mix well, cover and keep aside for 1 hour.
To Make Batter:
Sieve plain flour add corn flour, salt, red chili powder, baking powder mix with a spoon, then add hot sauce, milk and mix well.
For coating:
Sieve plain flour, garlic powder and mix well.
Heat oil for frying.
Now dip chicken strips in the batter, roll in the coating. (at this stage you can freeze them)
Place the chicken in hot oil and fry it till golden and floats on top, then keep on paper towel to remove extra oil.
To Assemble:
Place a paratha, lettuce, onion, chicken, mayo, sweet chili garlic sauce and roll it.
Serve hot with fries.
