Recipe for Chicken Maska

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken 1 kg (cut in 2 inch pieces)
  • Tomatoes 6 medium (grinned)
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 3 tsp (dry roasted & crushed)
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Tomato paste 4 tbsp (from a tube)
  • Bullet green chili 3
  • Cream 1 cup
  • Butter 50g
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Fresh coriander 4 tbsp

Cooking Directions

Heat oil add ginger & garlic paste, chicken, tomato paste mix and fry it on high flame for 5 to 6 minutes.

Now add grinned tomatoes, coriander powder, salt, red chili powder, turmeric, crushed red chili, crushed black pepper, garam masala powder, cumin mix well wait for a boil on high flame, then cover and cook on medium flame till the oil comes on the surface.

Then add butter, cream and cook on high flame till the butter melts.

Add fresh coriander, green chili mix.

Serve hot with naan, paratha or roti.
