Recipe for Mince Curry Puffs
Ingredients
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Onions 1 cup (chopped)
- Mince 250 gm
- Garam masala powder 1 tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Self-rising flour 2 cup
- Curry powder 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
- Green chilies 3 to 4 (chopped)
- Mozzarella cheese as required (cut into 1 inch cubes)
- Oil or ghee 1/3 cup
- Cold water to knead
- Oil for fry
Cooking Directions
Heat ghee 1 tbsp and fry half the onions until brown add mince and fry for 2 minutes.
Add the remaining onion, all spice and salt.
Cover and cook till mince tender and dry.
Mix the corn flour into a paste with water and add to the mince.
Cook for 2 minutes. Remove and cool.
Mix the self-rising flour and salt. Rub in ghee.
Knead with water to form into a dough.
Roll out thinly and cut into 4 inch rounds put mince mixture on 1 half.
Put a cube of cheese fold the pastry over, ceiling the edges with water heat oil and deep fry puffs.
Mince curry puffs are ready to serve.
