Recipe for Chatkhara Murgh Musallam
Ingredients
- Whole chicken 1
- Onion ground 1
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Green chilies 10
- Lemon juice ½ cup
- Oil ½ cup
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Ginger powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Carom seeds roasted 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds roasted 2 tsp
- Nutmeg ½ tsp
- Mace ½ tsp
- Chili powder 2 tsp
Cooking Directions
Marinate whole chicken with roasted carom seeds, roasted cumin seeds, ginger powder, garlic powder, salt, nutmeg, mace, chili powder and lemon juice.
Keep it marinated for 1 hour.
Heat oil in pan, add in chopped green chilies and fry.
Now add marinated chicken and fry well from both sides for 10 minutes.
Now add yogurt, ground onion and cook for another 30 minutes.
Murgh Musallam is ready to serve.
