Recipe for Gobi Aloo Matar Makhni
Ingredients
- Potatoes ½ kg
- Cauliflower ½ kg
- Yogurt 250 gm
- Peas 1 can
- Onion 1
- Green chilies 6
- Green coriander ½ bunch
- Butter 100 gm
- Salt 1 tsp
- Mustards seeds 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds 2 tsp
- Red chili flakes 2 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Cut ½ kg potatoes and ½ kg cauliflower.
Saute it in butter then blend 250 gm yogurt and 1 chopped onion together.
Now take the remaining butter in the pan along with 4 tbsp oil.
Saute 2 tsp cumin seeds and 1 tsp mustard seeds in it then add in ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt and 2 tsp red chili flakes.
Add in blended yogurt and onion and cook it for some time.
Then add in cauliflower, potatoes, peas and 6 green chilies.
Cook it for 15 minutes on a low flame.
In the end close the flame and add in 2 tbsp lemon juice and ½ bunch green coriander. Serve
