Recipe for Anjeer Gosht
Ingredients
- Beef ½ kg
- Figs 125gm
- Onion 1
- Tomatoes 2
- Green coriander ½ bunch
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder ½ bunch
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Crushed black pepper ½ tsp
- Oil 3-5 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add ginger garlic paste and chopped onion – fry till light brown and crisp.
Wash meat, pat dry and cut into 1 1/2? cubes.
Add meat to pan and fry till light brown.
Add 2 chopped tomatoes and fry until the oil comes on top.
Now add 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper, 1 tsp all spice powder, 125 g figs and salt as required.
Cook until the meat is tender.
When the gravy thickens, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and serve.
