Recipe for Crunchy Prawn
Ingredients
- Prawns 300 gm
- Corn flakes 1 cup
- Egg 1
- Flour 2 tbsp
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
- White pepper powder ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for fry
Cooking Directions
Mark cut in center of each prawn and open into book form.
Now put prawns in a bowl with 1 beaten egg, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp crushed red pepper, ¼ tsp black pepper, ¼ tsp white pepper and salt to taste, mix well and keep aside.
Then add 2 tbsp corn flour and 2 tbsp flour. Mix very well.
Coarsely crush 1 cup of corn flakes, coat each prawn with crushed corn flakes, press very well to make thick coating on each prawn.
Lastly shallow fry the prawns till crispy and golden brown.
Remove from oil and serve.
