Recipe for Lebanese Boti
Ingredients
- Chicken boneless ½ kg
- Salt to taste
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Onion 1
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder ½ tsp
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Oregano powder ½ tsp
- Thyme powder ½ tsp
- Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Thick yogurt 125 gm
- Egg yolk 2
- Butter (melted) 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Cut ½ kg chicken into cubes, marinate with 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, salt to taste, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp all spice powder, ½ tsp oregano, ½ tsp thyme, 2 tbsp tomato ketchup, 2 egg yolks and 125 gm thick yogurt.
Now thread chicken pieces in skewers. Cook on burning charcoal till tender.
Then remove in a serving platter.
Heat butter in a wok, add in chopped onion and saute till brown.
Spread on top of chicken and serve.
