Recipe for Anarsa
Ingredients
- Rice flour 250 gm
- Khoya 125 gm
- Sugar 125 gm
- Cardamom powder ½ tsp
- Almond chopped 20 gm
- Pistachio 25 gm
- Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
- Oil for fry
- Water as required
Cooking Directions
In a pan put together 125 gm sugar and water as required.
Cook till sugar is dissolved and mixture starts boiling.
Now add in 250 gm rice flour and continue to mix until mixture starts leaving the sides.
Cook for 5 minutes, then remove from fire, form it into dough.
In a separate bowl mix together 125 gm khoya, ½ tsp cardamom powder, chopped almonds and chopped pistachios.
Make small ball with the dough, stuff with a little khoya mixture, reshape into uneven round.
Similarly make with the remaining dough.
Sprinkle with a little sesame seed.
Coat very well with the sesame seeds and deep fry till golden brown.
