Recipe for Shrimp Makhani
Ingredients
- Shrimps ½ kg
- Coconut milk ½ cup
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Garlic 1 tsp chopped
- Salt ½ tsp
- Butter 3 tbsp
- Onion 2 tbsp (chopped)
- For Makhani Sauce:
- Green chilies 2 (sliced)
- Corn flour 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Ginger 1 tbsp (sliced)
- Red chili powder ½ tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
- All spice ½ tsp
- Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
- Tomato paste 3 tbsp
- Fresh cream 4 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Heat butter, fry garlic and onion for 2 minutes.
Add shrimps with salt chili powder, coconut milk and prepared makhani sauce.
Lastly add green chilies and coriander leaves.
Mix well and serve.
For Sauce:
Heat butter, add sliced ginger with tomato paste, chili powder, salt, lemon juice, all spice and ½ cup water.
Cook till boiling, thicken sauce with corn flour paste.
Lastly add cream and remove.
