Recipe for Pan Fried Oven Chicken

Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 (whole with skin)
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Garlic 4 – 5 Cloves
  • Olive Oil 4 tbsp
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Green and red Grapes 250 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Spring onion 2 (chopped)
  • Capsicum 1 (chopped)
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour paste 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder ½ tsp
  • Parsley ¼ bunch (chopped)

Cooking Directions

Finely chop ginger and garlic.

Heat olive oil in a pan, add chopped ginger garlic and chopped onion.

Fry well till onion is tender.

Now add grapes. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes.

Then add salt, crushed black pepper, spring onion leaves and capsicum.

Fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.

Stuff half of the prepared mixture in whole chicken.

Marinate whole chicken with a little salt, black pepper powder and lemon juice.

Also brush with a little oil.

Now put stuffed chicken in a greased pan, cook till its color turn to golden brown.

Remove from pan and put chicken in an oven proof tray.

Add 1 glass of water and roast on 180 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes.

Remove chicken and keep aside, mix the remaining gravy with remaining grapes mixture.

Fry well on high flame.

Then add corn flour paste and parsley. Turn the flame off.

Cut chicken into pieces, pour prepared sauce on top and serve hot.
