Recipe for Beef Noodles with Peanuts
Ingredients
- 1 egg white, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 2 teaspoons corn flour
- 1 cup beef, shredded
- ¾ cup peanuts
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 3 red chilies, dried, deseeded and chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons bell pepper
- Soy sauce as required
- 2 teaspoons corn flour
- Noodles as required
- Peanuts for garnishing
Cooking Directions
Mix egg white, vinegar, 1 teaspoon oil and 2 teaspoon of corn flour in a bowl and let the beef pieces marinate in this mixture.
Fry the peanuts until golden brown, remove from wok (karahi) and put aside.
Fry the beef pieces and then remove from oil.
In a separate pan, mix the sugar and ¼ cup oil and fry until brown.
Add the red chilies, ginger, onion, bell pepper and soy sauce to this mixture.
Fry lightly and then add the beef.
Dissolve 2 teaspoon of corn flour in a little water and add it to the pan.
Remove from heat once the mixture thickens.
Boil the noodles in 4 ½ cups of boiling water and remove onto a serving platter.
Pour beef mixture on top and garnish with peanuts.
