Recipe for Baked Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 tsp dried minced onions (or 1/2 tsp onion powder)
- 1 tsp dried herb mix or dried parsley
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 4 medium size chicken breasts)
- Pinch salt and Pepper
- 1/2 cup plain low fat Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp garlic, chopped (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 3 tsp grated parmesan cheese
Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a large baking pan with cooking spray, (just big enough to fit four chicken breasts).
Set aside. Place chicken breasts in a large ziplock bag, and lightly pound them with a meat mallet or rolling pin.
Meanwhile, In a small bowl, mix together the rest of the ingredients.
Place chicken breasts in baking pan and brush yogurt mixture evenly over chicken breasts, covering the tops and the sides evenly.
Bake chicken for 30-35 minutes. Remove from the oven and enjoy with salad or veggie of choice
