Recipe for Quail Fry/ Batair Fry
Ingredients
- Quails or Batair 8 cleaned and washed thoroughly
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Red chilies powder 1 Teaspoon
- Red chilies flakes 1 Teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric / Haldi 1 Teaspoon
- Garam masala one Teaspoon
- Paprika 1 tablespoon
- Oil for frying
- For sides:
- Red chilies sauce 1 cup
- Dahi one cup and 1 Teaspoon chat masala
- For salad:
- Onion 1
- Cucumber 1
- Tomatoes 2
Cooking Directions
In a bowl , marinade the quails with yogurt,red chili powder and flakes,salt,turmeric,garam masala,paprika,and leave overnight in fridge.
You can also marinade for 3 hours.
When ready to serve , take a fry pan and add oil.
When oil is hot, add quails/ batair one by one and fry till golden brown.Do not over fry.
Remove excess oil on kitchen paper and serve with dahi mixed with chat masala and red chili sauce.
You can use naan or roti with it.
