Recipe for Daal Bhara Paratha
Ingredients
- moong daal (yellow lentils)250 gms
- turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- green chilli paste 1 tsp
- salt to taste
- garam masala 1 tsp heaped
- chilli powder 1 tsp(use less or more)
- fresh ginger garlic paste 1 tsp, oil as required
- For dough: 2-3 cups wheat flour ,1 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
Cooking Directions
Mix salt oil flour together and knead a dough give rest at least for 15 minutes.
Now in a pan heat 1 tbsp of oil and add chilli paste, ginger garlic paste turmeric powder and saute.
Add pre soaked lentils in to it add 1/2 cup of water and let it cook on low heat till it is fully done and water is dry.
Now make small balls of dough and flatten them. put 1-2 tbsp of cooked lentils and cover into a ball again.
then roll like parathas and and put on tawa and smear it with oil frequently. serve hot. (you can replace any daal of your choice)
