Recipe for Matar Paneer Paratha
Ingredients
- For Paratha Dough:
- 500 gm flour
- 250 gm wheat flour
- 4 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- Lukewarm water to knead
- For Filling:
- 200 gm cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup boiled peas
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Cooking Directions
To Make Paratha Dough:
Place flour, wheat flour, salt, sugar and oil in a bowl.
Mix well. Knead a dough with lukewarm water.
Leave to rest for 1 hour then use to make paratha.
To Make Paratha Filling:
In a bowl, combine together cottage cheese, onion, green chilies, boiled peas, chili powder, coriander leaves and salt.
To Proceed:
Stuff each paratha with the filling mixture.
Now shallow fry on each side for 2 minutes or until light golden.
