Recipe for Mix Daal
Ingredients
- Salt:to taste
- Channay Ki Daal:1 cup
- Onion:1 sliced
- Crushed Red Chilli:1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder:1/3 tbsp
- Cumin Seeds:1 tbsp
- Red Chili:6 whole
- Split Green Gram:1/3 cup
- Cooking Oil:1/2 cup
- Red Lentil:1/3 cup
- White Lentil:1/3 cup
Cooking Directions
Combine all lentils and boil in water.When it comes to boil, add salt, whole red chili, turmeric and crushed red chili.
Cover with the lid and braise till lentils are tender. (Add more water if required)
Heat oil in a frying pan fry cumin seeds and onion in it till golden brown.
Pour this oil with cumin seeds and onion on lentils.
Tasty mix lentils are ready. Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
