Recipe for Masala Papad
Ingredients
- Papad- eg: Lijjat papad
- Salt to taste
- Lemon to taste
- Cilantro to garnish
- Chopped onions
- Chopped Tomatoes
- red chilli powder to sprinkle
- Chat masala , Shaan etc
- Oil- if you choose to deep fry it
Cooking Directions
Take the papad from packet
Either deep fry it with oil- or simply microwave it for 30 seconds
Then once its golden color and cooked take it out
Keep on dry surface and let it cool so that it can get crispier
Then sprinkle onions and tomatoes Make sure they are finely chopped.
Then sprinkle salt, red chili powder, chat masala and lemon on it Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately
Facts:
Masala papad can be made spicier by adding chopped green chilies as well if you like
Serve it immediately as if it takes even 5 minutes more the papads will be become soggy and you will loose the charm for the dish.
