• 400 gm mushrooms (fresh or canned)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
• 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• 3-4 green chillies chopped
• 1 small onion thinly chopped
• 2-3 tomatoes roughly chopped
• 1 bay leaf
• 2 cardamoms
• 1 inch cinnamon bits
• 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
• 1-1/2 tsp coriander powder
• 3/4 tsp garam masala powder
• Fresh cilantro chopped
• Salt to taste

Chop the mushroom in medium size pieces and saute for few seconds in a non-stick pan.
Transfer the mushrooms in microwave dish and keep aside.
Heat the same non-stick pan and add 1/2 tbsp of oil.

Add cumin seeds, green chillies and ginger-garlic paste.
Saute only for few seconds and add onion.

Fry the onion for few seconds until translucent.
Add tomatoes and mix very well.

Add the prepared gravy into the mushrooms.Microwave uncovered for 5 minutes.

Add salt, spices, bay leaf, cardamoms and cinnamon.
Drizzle few drops of water, Mix and microwave for 5 more minutes.

Finally garnish the dish with chopped cilantro.Serve hot with simple Indian chapati or naan.
