Recipe for Pumpkin Pickle
Ingredients
- 4 cups peeled and chopped pumpkin
- 3 tbsp fenugreen seeds (coarsely grounded)
- 3 tsp Red chili pepper (Lal Mirchi)
- 1/2 cup Salt (Namak)
- 4 tsp fenugreek seeds (coarsely ground)
- 2 tsp Turmeric (Haldi)
- 1 cup Mustard Oil (Sarson Ka Tel)
Cooking Directions
Cut the pumpkin with skin into long slices.
Place them in warm water for about 20 minutes.
Put in a strainer to drain the water and cool.
Mix all the ingredients with oil and rub on the pumpkin pieces.
Put in a clean jar and leave in a warm place for 4-5 days.
Shake it well once daily until tender.Serve after5-6 days
