Recipe for Tandoori Fish in Microwave Oven
Ingredients
- Fish 2 kgs/machli
- Onion (chopped) 1 small/chakor kati huwi ek piyaz
- Garlic 2 cloves/2phaliyan lehsan
- Red chillies 1 tsp/surkh mirchain
- Yogurt ½ cup/dahi
- Tomatoes 2 or more/tamater
- Ginger 1 small/chota adrak ka tukra
- Oil 5 tbsp/tail
- Black pepper (ground) ½ tsp/kaali mirch
- Turmeric powder ¼ tsp./haldi
Cooking Directions
Wash the fish and prick with fork and keep it aside. Prepare marination by adding yogurt, crush garlic and ginger, red chili, black pepper, turmeric powder and onion in it.
mix it well then Apply the marination on it except tomatoes and keep in freezer for 6 hours.
Heat oven up to 180oC and put the fish for 15 minutes in it. After 15 minutes, sprinkle oil on the fish and put it again in the oven for more baking for another 30 minutes.
When the fish gets brown take it out of the oven and serve with tomatoes, lemon and mint sauce.
