Recipe for Thai Stir-fried Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1100 gm rice noodles
  • 15 gm tofu
  • 10 gm shredded cabbage
  • 15gm shredded carrot
  • 10 gm crushed groundnut
  • 30 gm beans sprout
  • 10gm chives (Thai vegetable)
  • 30 ml oil
  • 3 tablespoon tamarind sauce
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt according to taste

Cooking Directions

Soak the rice noodles in water for half an hour.Pour oil in a pan and then fry the shredded vegetables in it.

Drain excess water from the noodles and then add them to the fried vegetables.After few minutes add sauce and beans sprout in the pan.

Then add tofu, groundnuts and salt to the mixture and stir well. Add the lemon juice and wait until the whole mixture is fully cooked.

Lift noodles onto a serving plate. Top with generous amounts of fresh chives or spring onion. Your Pad Thai is ready to be served.
