Recipe for Crispy Fried Corn Kernels
Ingredients
- 350 gm baby corn kernels-peeled
- 1 egg-slightly beaten
- 1 cup cornstarch / cornflour
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp salt
- Oil for deep-frying
Cooking Directions
Mix together the corn, egg, cornflour, garlic and ginger paste, 1 tsp salt and enough water so that they are ''coated'' with the batter.
Heat the oil and deep-fry kernels over high heat till a very light brown.
Drain on absorbent paper till required.
Before serving, heat oil again and deep fry to a golden brown and serve.
