Recipe for Degi Chargha
Ingredients
- Whole Chicken (Bay Chicken/Chuza) 700 gms
- Whole Coriander 2 tbsp
- Red Chilli 1 tsp
- Chilli Flakes 2 tbsp
- Whole Cummin Seed 2 tbsp
- Chat Masala 1 tsp
- Black Pepper To Taste
- Salt To Taste
Cooking Directions
Put all spices in grinder and grind masala. Wash whole chicken and slit with knife. Apply ground masala on chicken marinate over night.
Put marinated chicken in handi, sprinkle little water and cover handi with lid and cook.
Whilst cooking keep on handi shake and avoid to stir with spoon cook until tender
