Recipe for Dry mutton
Ingredients
- 600 gms mutton
- 60 ml Mustard oil
- 200 gms sliced onion
- 6 teaspoon coriander powder
- 2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Half tea spoon turmeric powder
- Salt according to taste
- 1 table spoon garam masala
- 50 gms ginger garlic paste
Cooking Directions
Heat mustard oil in a pan, sauté whole garam masala and bay leaf. Add sliced onions, fry till golden brown
Add ginger -garlic paste and sauté
Add red chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric dissolved in a little water. Fry till oil starts releasing
Add mutton pieces and fry for a while, add little hot water and cook over a low flame till mutton is cooked and tender
The consistency of the gravy should be semi dry. Serve it hot with rice or chapati
