Recipe for HONEY CHICKEN TIKKA
Ingredients
- 1 kilo Chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Lime juice
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
- 1 red food color
- to taste Salt
- 2 tbsps Mustard Oil
- 9 mint leaves
Cooking Directions
Clean and debone the chicken Cut into 2 inch strips
Combine all the ingredients (except mustard oil) in a large bowl, coat the chicken strips evenly and leave to marinate for 25 mins
Skewer the chicken strips 2cm apart Bake for 8-10 mins, basting occasionally with mustard oil
Serve hot, garnish with mint leaves
