Recipe for Bihari Kabab

Ingredients

  • ½ kilo Beef undercut
  • 3-4 Green chilies ground
  • ¼ bunch Mint leaves
  • ¼ cup Ghee / oil
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Crushed red pepper
  • 2 tbsps Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsps Poppy seeds
  • 3 tbsps Raw papaya paste
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Directions

Slice the ½ kilo undercut beef into long slices. If you are using leg piece then marinate the slices for 10-15 mints with 3 tbsp of raw papaya and salt to taste.

Marinate the meat with 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp poppy seed, 1 tbsp chili powder, 5-5 ground green chilies, 1tbsp crushed red pepper, ¼ bunch of coriander leaves, 1tsp dry fenugreek leaves, ¼ bunch of mint leaves, salt to taste and leave them for 10-15 mints for marination.

Now string each slice in zigzag style in a metal skewers and grill it on burning coal and cook it until golden brown from both sides.

Brush it with oil or butter during Bar BQ.
