Recipe for BEEF CHAPLI KABABS
Ingredients
- 1 kilo Beef mince nicely minced
- 2 tbsps Whole Red Chili crushed
- 1.1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 Onion chopped
- 6-8 Green chilies chopped
- Few stems Green coriander chopped
- 1 Tomato seedless and cut into small cubed
- 1 tbsp Whole coriander coarsely ground and roasted
- 1 tbsp White cumin seeds coarsely ground and roasted
- 1 tbsp Pomegranate seeds
- 4 tbsps Corn flour / Makki ka Atta dry roasted
- Oil For shallow fry
Cooking Directions
In a bowl, add beef mince, red chilis crushed, salt, ginger garlic paste, roasted and roughly ground whole coriander and cumin seeds, chopped green chilies, chopped onion,
dry pomegranate seeds, fresh coriander leaves and corn flour (Makkai ka atta) and mix together all ingredients. Marinate it for at least 4-5 hours in the refrigerator.
When you are ready to make Chapli Kababs, add small cubed tomatoes. Prepare medium sized patties out of mince mixture.
Shallow fry them in oil on a hot iron pan. Turn over carefully when cooked from one side.
Well done or well cooked kababs are everybody’s favourite. Serve with mint chutney or tamarind chutney.
