Recipe for KOFTA BADAMI
Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo Beef mince
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 3 green chilies
- 1 tsp ginger chopped
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves
- to taste salt
- 1/4 cup mint leaves
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 3 boiled tomatoes
- 30 grams almonds, crushed
- 300 grams yogurt
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- to taste salt
- 1/4 cup oil
- to taste all spice
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves
Cooking Directions
Place first eight ingredients in a blender
Blend until well combined.
Take mixture out in a bowl.
Boil almonds in water and peel.
Make small balls with kofta mixture.
Place an almond in the middle of each ball.
Place in refrigerator until set. Heat oil in a wok.
Heat oil in a pan and fry chopped onions in it for 3mins
Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Add all spices, turmeric powder, cumin, coriander powder, red chili,1/2 cup water and salt.
Cover pan with lid and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
In a blender blend boiled tomatoes, yogurt, boiled almonds.
Add the paste and 1/2 cup of water in gravy.
Bring to a boil and carefully place prepared kofta balls in it.
Cover and cook until meat is cooked.
Uncover and stir well. Garnish with coriander leaves.
