Recipe for Gajar Barfi
Ingredients
- 245 grams Khoya
- 1/2 kilo Carrots (peel and grated)
- 4 Green cardamom
- 1.5 cups Sugar
- 2 tbsps Clarified butter
- 1/2 cup Milk powder
- 3 tbsps Pistachios
- 3 tbsps Almonds sliced
- 3 tbsps Cashew nuts
Cooking Directions
In a pan add grated carrots and cook on low heat until its water dries.
Now chop cooked carrots in a chopper.
In a bowl add chopped carrots,khoya, milk powder, and green cardamoms.
Mix well and place this mixture in pan.
Add clarified butter and fry 3 minutes. Turn the heat off.
Add sugar and mix. Pour batter in greased dish.
Garnished with almonds,cashew nuts and pistachios.
Cut into small cubes and leave until set.
