Recipe for Porridge Pak

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup porridge oats
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 6 ounce sugar
  • 4 ounce butter
  • 4 tbsp almonds, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Cooking Directions

Preheat oven to 150 degree C.Melt butter in a sauce pan.

Add honey and cook on low flame for 1-2 minutes.
Remove from the flame and keep aside.

In a bowl, combine together coconut, oats, baking powder, flour, milk, caster sugar and chopped almonds.

Stir honey and butter mixture in it.
Stir well.

Spread this mixture evenly on a greased baking pan.
Bake for 15 minutes or until light golden.

Take it from the oven and cut into squares.
