Recipe for MAKHANA KHEER
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Clarified butter
- 2 tbsps Shredded almonds
- 200 grams White Makhanas
- 1 tbsp Green cardamom seeds (crushed)
- as required Sugar
- 10 cups Milk
- 2 tbsps Grated pistachios
Cooking Directions
Cut makhanas into halves
Put it in a saucepan with clarified butter
Fry over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add milk and sugar and stir well.
Leave to simmer until milk reduces to half and creamy consistency. Stir from time to time
Add almonds and pistachios and leave for 10 minutes
Sprinkle crushed cardamom. Serve
