Recipe for Chicken Mince Pilaf
Ingredients
- Chicken mince 250 gm
- Rice (soaked) 250 gm
- Oil ¼ cup
- Onion 1 (sliced)
- Salt 2 tsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- All spice 1 tsp
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Yogurt ½ cup
- Cumin seeds ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1, ½ tsp
- Whole all spices 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 3
- Mint leaves 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Boil rice with whole spices and salt till ¾ done.
Drain rice in a strainer and keep aside.
Heat oil, add sliced onion and fry till light golden.
Add chicken mince with salt, cumin seeds, chili powder, turmeric and ginger garlic paste, fry for 5 minutes.
Add yogurt and all spices, mix well.
Cook for 10 minutes.
Now add the boiled rice to this mixture mix well.
Add green chilies, mint and coriander leaves.
Cover tightly and cook on very low heat for 5 - 10 minutes.
Serve hot with raita.
