Recipe for Coconut halwa
Ingredients
- Desiccated coconut ½ kg
- Whole dried milk ½ kg
- Sugar 1 kg
- Green cardamons 12
- Yellow food color as required.
Cooking Directions
Grind green cardamoms, Put sugar in 1 kg water to make syrup.
When dried milk is ready add ground green cardamoms.
Mix dried milk and coconut together.
Add to the syrup and cook for 5 minutes.
Grease tray and put halwa in it, level with spoon.
When cooled, cut into pieces and serve.
